ReadStash does not collect, track, or share any personal data. Your saved articles and reading history stay on your device.
ReadStash collects no data whatsoever. Specifically:
When you save an article URL, ReadStash fetches the web page content to extract the article text for offline reading. This request goes directly from your device to the article's website -- we do not proxy, log, or intercept these requests. The fetched content is stored locally on your device only.
All saved articles, tags, reading progress, and settings are stored locally on your device using IndexedDB and localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party. You can export all your data as JSON at any time, and you can delete all data from within the app.
ReadStash registers as a Share Target so you can share URLs to it from other apps. The shared URL is processed locally on your device. No data about what you share is collected or transmitted.
If you subscribe to ReadStash Pro, the transaction is processed by our payment provider. We do not store your payment information. The payment provider's privacy policy applies to the transaction itself.
ReadStash accesses the network only to: (1) load the app itself, and (2) fetch article content from URLs you explicitly save. No other network requests are made. The app works fully offline for previously saved articles.
ReadStash uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.
ReadStash does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
If we ever change this policy, we will update the date above.
